Christopher Stolee asks - what's the deal with the new Coke bottle caps?

Christopher Stolee wants to know why Coke has changed the bottle caps for its small bottles of Coke, Coke Zero, Fresca, etc. The new bottle caps are a little bit shorter and the net effect is that it's harder to put the cap back on the bottle because now there's only about 2/3 as much threading inside the plastic cap.

Christopher Stolee knows that Coke is saving countless dollars in reduced cost for plastic, but come on! Save your money somewhere else, like not paying for those stupid Coke Zero lawyer commercials.
